FIA GT4 : Two wins for Catharina Felser and KTM at Oschersleben
Reiter Engineering once again fielded two KTM X-Bow cars in the FIA GT4 Cup. In the Sports Light category Catharina Felser drove #100 alone, Christopher Haase and Dennis Retera shared the #101 car. Christopher Haase and Dennis Retera took pole position for all three races of the weekend against the new Lotus, which appeared for the first time. Christopher Haase completed the 50 minute race on Saturday evening as start driver in #101.

During the opening stages Christopher Haase ran in the top 6 of the much stronger GT4 cars. A mistake under braking and subsequent spin at Turn1 unfortunately threw Haase down the field. The KTM X-Bow was stranded on a kerb and was eventually released after losing a lot of time by the marshals.

She crossed the finish line seventh overall and only seven seconds behind the GT4 winner, and in doing so, won the Sports Light class. Christopher Haase and Dennis Retera were third in class.

Two 25-minute sprint races were are on Sunday’s agenda.

Catharina Felser came out on top again and took victory number two of the weekend. The young law student was even running in fifth place overall. Dennis Retera was barged-off the track at the first corner by a rival competitor. Unfortunately, the Dutchman was forced to retire from the race at this early stage.

Race three late on Sunday afternoon was dominated by the dogfight between Christopher Haase in the KTM and Gavan Kershaw in a Lotus. The two drivers swapped positions repeatedly. Chrisotpher Haase was eventually held up while lapping slower cars and had to settle for second place. Catharina Felser was third.

Catharina Felser now leads the championship with 70 points from Christopher Haase / Dennis Retera with 56 points and Kershaw with 26 points.
