Jason Templeman was a new co-driver for Adam Jones at the British GT event at Rockingham. Templeman rewarded the trust given to him and took the first pole positioni for Team Modena in the British GT Championship. With a lap of 1.22,605 minutes he left 21 other GT3 cars behind his Lamborghini Gallardo. Adam Jones drove the second practice and continued the successful run of the team with a third place starting position for race two.

From the third event onwards, a second Lamborghini Gallardo took part in the Brazilian GT3 Championship. Beside the leaders Alceu Bonifacio / Pablo Feldman the duo Sandy Negräo / Andreas Mattheis changed to the Lamborghini Gallardo. They immediately found confidence in the new car and finished three of the four free practice sessions on top ot the time sheets.

With positions three (Tuchbant / Leclerc) and nine (Dubreuil / Amado), both First Racing Lamborghini Gallardos finished in the Top 10 of the first FFSA GT3 Championship race at Nogaro. In the second race, the cars crossed the finish line in sixth and seventh positions. In the point standings, the best positioned Lamborghini driver is Dubreuil in fourth. Only one event, at Magny Cours, remains in the season.



After a short break, First Racing continued their efforts in the French GT Championship. Bruno Dubreuil and Ulric Amadu drove the #70 Lamborghini Gallardo at the 65th Grand Prix of Albi and finished in sixth position in the first race in front of GT3 competitiors with Ferrari, Dodge and Porsche cars. Unfortunately their team mates David Tuchbant and Antoine Leclerc had to retire after only 10 laps.

On Sunday, Dubreuil and Amadu had their big moment. They not only finished in 11th position overall within the field of fast GT1 and GT2 cars, but they also won the GT3 class.



Teams of de Castro / de Baranda and Cioci / Geri had strong competition at the British meeting of the International GT Open at Brands Hatch. But Angel de Castro defended the honour of Lamborghini in the first qualifying and took pole position for the first race with a gap of three tenths of a second in the GTS class. Marco Cioci in the #61 car was the best Lambroghini driver in second qualifying with fourth place on the grid. Marco Cioci and Ferdinando Geri finished the first 35 lap race on the podium, Angel de Castro / Saind de Baranda came home in fifth position.

GT3 Series : Championship title in Italy for Lamborghini

There was also reason to celebrate in the Italian GT Championship. MIK Corse clinched the championship title with drivers Giovanni Berton and Giacomo Piccini driving a Lamborghini Gallardo GT3. Another win brought the two Italians the necessary points to claim the championship before the season finale at Monza. The two MIK Corse racers are now the most successful drivers in the Italian GT3 Championship boasting a total of six victories and three second-place finishes in twelve races.



For the first time, the International GT Open Championship appeared on a German racetrack. Together with the World Touring car Championship, the series raced in Oschersleben. Ferdinando Geri and Marco Cioci took the challenge with their Racing Box Lamborghini Gallardo and took the pole position for the ProAm Race. The two Italians had two solid races and finished Second (ProAm) and Third (GT Open) in the GTS category. After this good results, Ferdinando Geri is now leading the class, Marco Cioci is fourth in GTS.

Pablo Bonifácio and Alceu Feldman were responsible for lucky faces by the Lamborghini people at Curitiba, the second event of the new Brazilian GT3 Championship. They secured the pole positions for both races and Bonifacio was the only driver under the barrier of 1.21 minutes per lap.
