After the Kirchanschoering / Germany based equipe secured the team championship at the last event at the Sachsenring, Reiter Engineering driver Christopher Haase finished the final weekend of the ADAC GT Masters with the drivers championship trophy in his hands.
Reiter Engineering concluded rounds 9 and 10 of the ADAC GT Masters with two more victories. While the Drivers’ Championship is still to be decided, Hans Reiter’s team clinched the Team Championship at the penultimate round of the season. Hans Reiter is relaxed about the outcome of the drivers’ championship: “Only one of our drivers can win the championship. However, I hope the drivers don’t forget that hey are team mates and the racing stays hard but fair in the fight for the championship.”
Together with the US formula series ChampCar the ADAC GT Masters absolved their seventh and eighth championship race at Zolder. Again the Lamborghini Gallardo showed their potential in Belgium. The Italian bulls secured not only the two pole positions but also both race victories.
Reiter Engineering still leading in team championship. Six Lamborghini Gallardo raced at the second event of the ADAC GT Masters at Oschersleben last weekend. In free practice, Christoph Bouchut in the ALL-INKL.COM Gallardo set the best times with high 1.31 minutes laps in both sessions. Second fastest wereChristopher Haase and Gianni Morbidelli from Team Reiter Engineering.
Christopher Haase and Gianni Morbidelli are the first point leaders in the ADAC GT Masters. With victory in the first race and second position in the second race, the Reiter Engineering duo collected enough points to lead the point table of the new GT3 championship. Wolfgang Kaufmann and Alexander van der Lof secured the second win for Lamborghini with their ARGO Gallardo.
