The first qualifying session of the weekend for the LMGTE and GTC competitors taking part in the 3 Hours of Imola produced a pole position for the two famous Italian manufacturers Ferrari and Lamborghini at their home circuit.

Gesamtsieg für Grasser/Sagmeister
Spielberg (A). – Im Rahmen der traditionellen Rundstreckentrophy auf dem Red Bull Ring in Spielberg fand ein 2-Stunden Langstreckenrennen der FIA Zone Zentraleuropa statt. Mit Touren- und GT Wagen aus Slowenien, Ungarn, der Slowakei, Tschechien und Österreich waren dabei insgesamt 37 Teilnehmer am Start.

Customer Team Clearwater 3rd on Twin Ring Motegi circuit
It was a tremendously exciting season opener for the 2013 GT Asia Series held today where Peter Li Zhi Cong claimed the win in his Porsche 997 GT3 R on a very wet Twin Ring Motegi circuit. He was followed across the line by reigning Champion, Mok Weng Sun in the McLaren 12C GT3 in second and Tunku Hammam, who paired up with Ro-Charlz in Team Clearwater Racing’s Lamborghini LP560 GT3 in third.

Perfektes Wochenende mit Pole und Sieg in beiden Rennen
Allam Khodair und Marcelo Hahn waren die Gewinner beider Rennen zum Auftakt der Brasilianischen GT Meisterschaft in Sao Paulo. Das Duo, das einen Lamborghini Team Blau fährt, startete jeweils auf der Pole Position und behielt die Führung bis ins Ziel.

The battle for 3rd place also had a survival aspect. After moving up into 3rd position with its early pit stop strategy, the No. 4 GSR HATSUNEMIKU BMW (Nobuteru Taniguchi > Tatsuya Kataoka > Taniguchi) was also hit with tire trouble and fell back out of contention.
