Run by one of the most professional teams in the Australian GT field, VodkaO Racing, Hackett has proven to be a sensation in his debut in the Lamborghini Gallardo, consistently being the fastest Lamborghini driver in the field by a wide margin at this half way point of the season. 29 year old Hackett has set his sights on securing testing and racing opportunities with international GT Sportscar teams with the ultimate aim of competing in major endurance racing events around the world. Hackett's racecraft has been developed across a broad range of motor racing disciplines that include Australian Formula 3 and Formula Holden Championship titles, before progressing to the Australian GT Championship. Hackett has completed three rounds of the six round 2010 Australian GT Championship and lies second in the points chase behind Porsche 997 Cup Car driver David Wall. Hackett and Wall have dominated the top steps of the podium in the opening three rounds which were held at the Adelaide Street Circuit, the Australian Grand Prix Street Circuit (Albert Park) and at Sydney's Eastern Creek Raceway. The two drivers have often raced eachother several seconds ahead from the entire Australian GT Championship field, which usually includes some 26 to 40 cars.
