At the home grande prix from Reiter Engineering on the Nurburgring Peter Kox and Christopher Haase continued the series of success in the FIA GT1 world championship.

The leaders in the championship of the ADAC GT Masters, Albert on Thurn und Taxis (27, Regensburg) and Peter Kox (46, NL) brought themselves in a perfect position on their way to the cup.

Two wins in Super Trofeo for Reiter Engineering

Peter Kox and Mark A. Hayek saved the wins 3 and 4 in the season of 2010 on the Hungaroring near Budapest. After the first race on Saturday had to be ended without a countable result, it was to win from the back of the field on Sunday morning. Mark A. Hayek already fought himself to the sixth position before the pit stop.

Albert von Thurn und Taxis and Peter Kox win both races in ADAC GT Masters.  

More successful you cant finish a race weekend. For the runs 9 and 10 Reiter engineering traveled to the Eurospeedway Lausitz to defeat the lead of the championship of the ADAC GT masters with the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 GT3.

Albert von Thurn und Taxis (27, Regensburg) und Peter Kox (46, NL) hatten am Samstag auf dem EuroSpeedway Lausitz alles fest im Griff. Auch leichter Regen und eine rutschige Piste konnten die beiden Piloten aus dem Team Reiter Engineering nicht davon abhalten, in ihrem Lamborghini Gallardo zum dritten Saisonsieg im ADAC GT Masters zu fahren.

Die beiden Tabellenführer des ADAC GT Masters, Albert von Thurn und Taxis (27, Regensburg) und Peter Kox (46, NL), dominierten am Freitag das Training beim ADAC GT Masters-Weekend auf dem EuroSpeedway Lausitz. Bereits in den beiden freien Trainings sicherten sich die Piloten von Reiter Engineering mit ihren Lamborghini Gallardo die Bestzeiten.

Arrows Racing gewinnt mit Lamborghini  das Merdeka Millenium Race!

Nach 12 Stunden überquerte der Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 GT3 von Hammam / Kox / Haase die Ziellinie als Sieger und stellte einen neuen Distanzrekord auf.

„Es ist faszinierend, wie sich ein kleines einheimisches Team gegen so starke Konkurrenz durchsetzen kann“, freute sich Hans Reiter von Reiter Engineering über den Erfolg von Arrows Racing. „Es gab keine Probleme und das Team hat hervorragende Arbeit bei den Boxenstopps geleistet.“

Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race 2010: Lamborghini ahead

The Arrows Racing Team - Tunku Hammam Sulong, Peter Kox and Christopher Haase - at the front row tomorrow, ahead of Alex Yoong/Matthew Marsh/Marchy Lee (KK Performance Team) and followed by AUDI R8 LMS of Audi Race Experience Team Joest.

On P5 Dilantha Malagamuwa/Kota Sasaki/Jeffrey Lee are positioned also in a LP560 GT3. The Arrows Racing Team had clocked a total time of 6 minutes 18.666 seconds.

 First Lamborghini win in FIA GT1 World Championship at Spa

"Is was a great victory and it has been a long time coming," Hans Reiter said. "We've never had the budget to do a full season before and it feels really good.

"Ricardo's pit stop was a disaster, but he managed to get out and win. We still have a lot to learn. When you look at the likes of Vitaphone (Maserati) who have been doing it so profesionally for so many yeatrs, you realise that we must get better.

"We had the fastest car out there today, and the thing that feels best about it is that it wasn't luck."

In a reference to the Reiter No.24 Lamborghini of Peter Kox and Christopher Haase, which started seventh and led the race at one point before retiring from third place towards the end, he added: "The first pit stop with Peter's car was fantastic, perfect, he drove brilliiantly all weekend. He must be the most unlucky guy here today."

Fünf schnelle Niederländer freuen sich auf ihr Heimrennen

Das ADAC GT Masters reist am kommenden Wochenende (16. bis 18. Juli) zum einzigen Auslandsgastspiel auf den TT Circuit ins niederländische Assen. Nach sieben Wochen Fußballpause startet die „Liga der Traumsportwagen“ auf der legendären Motorradstrecke in Nordholland in die zweite Saisonhälfte.
