KOX and HAASE nominated for FIA GT1 World Championship

The experienced race pilot Peter Kox (NED) and exceptionally talented driver Christopher Haase (GER) pair up for the newly established 2010 FIA GT1 World Championship.


The two drivers will race the season in one of team REITER's two Lamborghini Murciélago LP670 R-SV which offer more than 600 PS and 12 cylinders.

Just in 2009 the very experienced and successful Peter Kox (45) won the race 1000km of Barcelona and finished the 1000km of Spa in second place both in the old Lamborghini Murciélago R-GT.

Christopher Haase (22) won the German GT3 championship (ADAC GT Master) in a Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 with REITER Engineering in 2007 and positioned himself as runner-up in 2008. In 2009 Haase won the FIA GT3 European Championship (Audi).

After being competitors in the ADAC GT Masters Championship GT pilots Haase and Kox now pair up for a strong team and will compete against 23 other cars. The first race of FIA GT1 World Championship will take place in brand new race circuit Abu Dhabi (UAE).
