Instead of the podium hoped for, which seemed to be very because of the perfect performance of the two Lamborghini Gallardo #11 and #12 and the drivers, many turn arounds and unnecessary crashes made an excellent result impossible. The many guests of the team, who came to the Nuerburgring, sometimes even had the feeling, they had visited a rodeo event.

For the #12 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 600 (Oleg Petrishin and Martin Karlhofer) the weekend even was over already after the qualifying. A hard push of a competitor against the left front tire of Karlhofer and the following crash with the barrier damaged the car so hard, that it was not possible to repair it at the race track. Karlhofer got out of the car safely - but very shocked.

The #11 Lamborghini had a better time. Vollmaier could get the 11th place for the starting grid on Saturday and Mengesdorf took the 6th place for Sunday. After the start of the first race Vollmair lost some positions and had some problems with competitors during the race. Especially the Corvette blocked Vollmair for a few laps. The two touched and the and the German feel back to position 21. He could get 2 positions back and handed over the Lamborghini to Mengesdorf being on the 19th place. He used the second half of the race to fight his way through to position 15.

The second race also started off very well. Mengesdorf only lost one position at the start and was able to get it back after 3 rounds. Being on position 5 he handed over the car to Vollmair. Vollmait had a slight touch with a competitor soon again, turned around and stopped against the driving direction at the entrance of the start-finish line. To set nobody at any risk, he had to let pass nearly all of his competitors and was 16th in the end.

The cars run perfectly, the drivers give their best - and still something happens every time to throw us back again. The qualifying results of Dennis and David were good, but the races didn't go as planed. That the Lamborghini of Martin and Oleg didn't even last the qualifying, was another disaster."

The races nine and ten will start on August 13th and 14th at the Red Bull Ring in Austria. The clear goal of team rhino's Leipert: the podium!

All 16 races of the ADAC GT Masters in 2011 will be broadcasted live on the free TV channel Kabel 1 on Saturday and Sunday at 11:45 am in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
