MACAU GT CUP 2011

First row and podium finish for Keita Sawa with Lamborghini

Within two qualifying sessions, Keita Sawa from Japan fought for second place on the grid in the Star River – Windsor Arch Macau GT Cup.

During the race on the 6,12 kilometer street course Sawa defended his second place with his Lamborghini Gallardo LP600+ GT3 and had an podium finish at the end.

In the strong grid of 31 cars Sawa hat to defend himself against strong opponents like Audi, Ferrari, McLaren or Aston Martin. Only the Audi works entry beat the Lamborghini privateer.

The Macau GT Cup also was a race for the Asia GT series, where Dilantha Malagamuwa from Sri Lanka also could claim a second place in the championship result. Overall the Lamborghini driver saw the chequered flag in eight position. More Gallardo crossed the finish line in fourth (Michael Choi) and sixth (Keith Chan) position. Billy Fung ended in ninth position in this hard race.
