Albert von Thurn und Taxis and Stefan Rosina will compete for Reiter Engineering

Albert von Thurn und Taxis (DEU) and Stefan Rosina (SVK) will share a Lamborghini Gallardo LP600+ in the 2012 ADAC GT Masters season.

The GT series is pretty new for Slovak pilot Rosina (24). So far he competed in two GT3 races in the 2011 European Championship, one of those in a Gallardo for Hans Reiter’s team. He has considerably more experience in the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup after having competed in that series for the past few years. “I am aware that the GT Masters series in Germany is very hard. However, I am looking forward to the season and I am happy that I will share the car with Albert. He is a very successful pilot and very familiar with the car”.

His partner, Albert von Thurn und Taxis (28), is well-known in GT racing. The Prince has been competing for Reiter Engineering since 2006. He won the 2010 ADAC GT Masters Championship with Peter Kox (NLD). In the 2011 season Thurn und Taxis and Philip Geipel (25) won the GT Masters Team Championship.

Hans Reiter considers them a strong duo: “They get along very well, are fast with the car and I definitely want to compete for the championship title with both of them”.

When asked about which series he also wants to compete in with his team, Hans Reiter points out that he would like to race in the new GT1 World Championship provided that financing is secured which seems to be complicated at the moment.
