FIA GT1 World Championship

Team principal Hans Reiter is glad to announce his full drivers line up.

Peter Kox (NDL) will share his Lamborghini Gallardo with Darryl O’Young (CHN). Albert von Thurn und Taxis (GER) and Tomas Enge (CZE) will complete the team driving the second Lamborghini.

Peter Kox, a very experienced driver and Lamborghini expert already competed in the FIA GT1 in 2010 and 2011 with a Murcielago. Darryl O’Young is a very popular chines racing driver and a 3 times Macau Grand Prix winner.

Albert von Thurn und Taxis was champion of the ADAC GT Masters in 2010 and therefor very comfortable with the Gallardo. Large experience in GT1 is also in favor of Tomas Enge.

Team principal Hans Reiter: “ Now we are ready to go. We have really great driver pairings and two strong cars, which will certainly let us compete for the championship. Stephane Ratel of the SRO won great cars and drivers with his concept for the championship. This is surely an achievement for international motorsports and will provide for a lot of interest on all continents.”

The first race of the season will take place in Nogaro, France, from April 7th to 8th 2012.
