Two Third Places for Pronk and Kox in the South of France

The two Dutch drivers Nico Pronk and Peter Kox in the Lamborghini Gallardo LP600+ won two third places in the GTS class of the International GT Open championship.

Pronk grabbed P11 (GTS class) in his qualifying session on Saturday, his team mate, Kox, took P2, just 66 thousandths of a second behind the pole-sitting Autorlando Sport Porsche.

Both performed well in the first race, securing P3 in the GTS class. In the second race on Sunday, the driver duo grabbed the same place, scoring 12 championship points each.

Peter Kox: “I am quite happy with the result. Nico (Pronk) has proved again that he is a fast learner and that he can improve his performance”.

The International GT Open is a very attractive championship with more than 20 cars competing. Several TV stations throughout Europe broadcast the races live. The next round will take place at the Hungaroring (HUN) from September 7th to 9th, 2012.
