HAHN IN HIS REITER GALLARDO GT3 SCORES IMPORTANT POINTS IN TORONTO
Monday, 21 July 2014 00:00
After victory the day before, the Reiter Engineering driver takes the flag in fourth place.
The Pirelli World Challenge proved to be just as tough in Toronto, Canada. The tight street circuit without runoff areas forced drivers to adopt a clean driving style. The Reiter Engineering driver Marcelo Hahn was already aware of this on Friday in free practice. He destroyed his actual Gallardo FL2 GT3 accident, which meant that he had to run the rest of the weekend with a spare chassis.
Hahn was on course for a podium position in the GT-A division from the very beginning of the second race at the event in Toronto, and like the previous day was able to escape the competition’s worst skirmishes. A longer full course yellow at half distance didn’t put the Reiter Engineering driver off his stride.Read more...

Reiter Gallardo FL2 GT3: podium for NSC Motorsport at Zandvoort, Pro Am Trophy victory for Grasser Racing
The strong performance by Reiter Engineering customer team Grasser Racing with the Reiter Gallardo FL2 GT3 went unrewarded in the Blancpain Sprint Series at Zandvoort on Sunday. Starting from pole position, Hary Proczyk held the lead in the changing weather conditions all the way to the mandatory pit stop. Unfortunately, a lot of time was lost during the pit stop due to a problem, which meant that Jeroen Bleekemolen returned to the track in twelfth position. By the end of the race after 31 laps, Bleekemolen was able to fight his way back up to fifth position. The driver duo now holds second place in the championship standings.Read more...

The Reiter Engineering customer team dominated the qualifying race almost as it desired with its Gallardo FL2 GT3. Jeroen Bleekemolen drove the opening stint and quickly pulled away from the field. On the dry track, the Dutchman built up a cushion of a good four seconds, which he was even able to extend slightly as rain fell just before the mandatory pit stop.
As the weather conditions worsened, the team gambled and brought the Gallardo FL2 GT3 in to pit lane exactly as the pit stop window opened.Read more...
