VICTORY FOR DILANGO RACING WITH REITER GALLARDO IN SEPANG
Monday, 18 August 2014 00:00
Two top 10 results for Team Boss Dilantha Malagamuwa and two podium finishes in the GTM class for Dilango Racing in Sepang.
Reiter Engineering customer Dilango Racing enjoyed a strong weekend at the fourth GT Asia Series event held at Sepang, Malaysia. After a completely wet qualifying session, Dilantha Malagamuwa / Nathan Antunes had to scramble through the field from start 13th on the grid for Saturday’s first, dry race. A spin at the start cost additional time, however at the end of the 60-minute sprint the blue Gallardo FL2 GT3 took the chequered flag in a good sixth place. The team’s second car in the GTM class performed even better. Takuma Aoki / Ken Urata in a Gallardo LP560 GT3 crossed the finish line second in their class and, in doing so, continued their excellent run of results in the gentlemen’s class. Ninth place in the GT3 went to Yuk Long Siu in the LKM Racing Gallardo.Read more...

3rd place for Albert von Thurn und Taxis in the first race of Pirelli World Challenge in Mid-Ohio
Gentleman driver Albert von Thurn und Taxis took third place in the GT-A class in a strange race packed with crashes and effected by erratic weather. The Regensburg born racer, who contested his fourth race on North American soil in Mid-Ohio under the banner of Reiter Engineering, could not repeat the his excellent performance from practice and qualifying where he topped the time sheets in the GT-A class in both sessions.
Sure von Thurn und Taxis - unimpressed by the pile-up at the start of the race - moved into the top 10 overall and defended his position until the yellow flags were waved again due to another crash. HAHN IN HIS REITER GALLARDO GT3 SCORES IMPORTANT POINTS IN TORONTO
Monday, 21 July 2014 00:00
After victory the day before, the Reiter Engineering driver takes the flag in fourth place.
The Pirelli World Challenge proved to be just as tough in Toronto, Canada. The tight street circuit without runoff areas forced drivers to adopt a clean driving style. The Reiter Engineering driver Marcelo Hahn was already aware of this on Friday in free practice. He destroyed his actual Gallardo FL2 GT3 accident, which meant that he had to run the rest of the weekend with a spare chassis.
Hahn was on course for a podium position in the GT-A division from the very beginning of the second race at the event in Toronto, and like the previous day was able to escape the competition’s worst skirmishes. A longer full course yellow at half distance didn’t put the Reiter Engineering driver off his stride.Read more...
