Important Tests in Valencia (ESP)

Test Reiter Engineering 2012 Valencia (ES)The Reiter Engineering team tested five Lamborghinis Gallardo LP600+ and a Camaro GT in Valencia, Spain this week with the client’s team, Veloso from Portugal, on location. They have bought the Gallardo, in which brothers Johannes and Ferdinand Stuck had won the team championship title of the 2011 ADAC GT Masters for the Reiter Engineering team.

The tests took place in almost summerlike conditions, at about 20 degrees Celsius.

Pilots Nico Pronk, Mark A. Hayek, Peter Kox, Albert von Thurn und Taxis, Stefan Rosina and Philip Geipel took part in the tests, with the latter one testing the Camaro GT.

The main focus for the LP600+ were the new specifications for 2012. The GT3 cars performed very well again. Each car completed nearly 1,000 kilometres during the two days for an endurance test. Philip Geipel drove about the same amount of kilometres in the newly developed Camaro GT.

Hans Reiter was very happy with his cars: “The new specifications for the Gallardo are working perfectly. The Camaro’s endurance is very good. We will have to test the car’s performance during the next tests.”

Peter Kox used the opportunity for a fitness test among the drivers and all of them passed with flying colours.

The next target for Reiter Engineering is the GT Open Test at the Paul Ricard HTTT in Le Castellet in the South of France, where Peter Kox and Nico Pronk will start in a Gallardo LP 600+. The Camaro GT will also be used.
