Customer Sport: GT4 America & British GT - Victory for Marco Polo Motorsport

Pirelli GT4 America Canadian Tire Motorsport Park
Halftime in the 2019 season of the Pirelli GT4 America and it was the weekend of Nicolai Elghanayan and his Marco Polo Motorsport KTM X-Bow GT4.
The over 4-kilometer-long Canadian Tire Motorsports Park with its 10 mostly fast corners suits the lightweight and efficient KTM.
Free practice and qualifying became went fantastically for Nikolai Elghanayan, who took his first GT4 pole position this season. A very strong performance in the championship with eight manufacturers!
The safety car came on the track shortly after the race start. When restarting the KTM pilot first lost the lead, but at half-time, he was right on the rear end of the leader. For the remaining 20 minutes a a battle for the victory, worth watching broke out.
Multiple changes of position in one lap tore the spectators off their seats at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. In the last rounds, the KTM X-Bow driver finally prevailed and won with a 1.6 second lead in the first race of the weekend.
In the second race on Sunday, Nicolai Elghanayan and Marco Polo Motorsports took seventh place in the championship and were able to establish themselves in the Top 10 of the Pirelli GT4 America Series.
British GT Championship Snetterton
The Snetterton 300 set the stage for the second race weekend of the British GT Championship. Track Focused again used a KTM X-Bow GT4 for Sean Cooper and Mike McCollum. The GT4 newcomers will continue to gain experience with tracks and cars in their first full season. On Saturday they finished the race in 15th place, Sunday they had to retire their KTM prematurely after an accident.
