Championship Title Still Open

Siljehaug / Angermayr win the Sachsenring

Title decision in the ADAC GT4 Germany remains open.
Second win of the season for the Felbermayr Reiter KTM X-Bow GT4. Double victory for KTM with a newbies 2nd place from Marchewicz / Volte (Valvoline Reiter).
With the last two races at Sachsenring, the ADAC GT4 Germany is entering the finale of its debut season.
Eike Angermayr and Mads Siljehaug are title contenders for the new GT4 series this weekend. For the first race on Saturday, Mads Silehaug was able to clinch the eighth starting position for the Felbermayr Reiter team. A good starting position to get important points in the title fight.

An orderly start phase of the 60-minute race allowed Siljehaug to get into a good rhythm before the Norwegian continued to drive his # 24 KTM X-Bow GT4 into the lead of the race. A safety car phase slowed Siljehaug for a short period, but could not prevent their lead. Within a few laps the KTM -Bow GT4 took position by position and was led to the first place shortly before the pitstop time window. A second safety car phase left the thought of stopping sooner than planned to stop, but the Marshalls on Sachsenring cleared the track extremely fast and Siljehaug stayed out for a series of fast laps.

The Felbermayr Reiter team also defended the lead after the pit stop, now with Eike Angermayr at the wheel. The young Austrian managed the top confidently and could not be disturbed even by the strong competition. When, after 60 minutes and one lap was waved, Angermayr for the second time this season took the chequered flag first, the target as the winner. The Felbermayr Reiter duo Siljehaug / Angermayr was already able to win in Zandvoort and shortened the gap to the top of the table to only three points. Thus, the championship will be decided in the last race of the season on Sunday from 11.50 clock.

The success of the KTM X-Bow GT4 at the Sachsenring was completed by an outstanding second place of Marcel Marchewicz and Yves Volte in the Valvoline Reiter vehicle. They first crossed the finish line as third, but were brought up one place after a correction by the ADAC. Jan Krabec and Lennart Marioneck finished fourth in the RTR Projects KTM X-Bow GT4.
